Our MARI ITO Mini-Museum
Our first purchases were two paintings in her personal Japanese style. Typical for both was that they had a silver paper background what was typical for older Japanese paitings.
In the second set of paintings we bought this background had disappeared but the typical characteristics of the paintings of Mari Ito remained as we can see below.
These paintings fitted very nicely in our hall together with a new object that we bought from her.
Let us look at the object a bit more precisely.
Later we saw several exhitions of her and at one exhition we bought a very different painting that we liked a lot:
La fuente de instinto
La fuente de instinto
But we were most expressed when we saw her beutiful work at the metro station Universidad in Barcelona.
Having seen this beautiful piece of art we asked her to create one more painting for us at the moment that she would he as happy as she could be. So she made for us
El nacimiento de la alegria
